INTRODUZIONE AL FILM
"Spellbound - L'incantesimo" è un film d'animazione recentemente approdato su Netflix, diretto da Vicky Jenson, già nota per "Shrek". La storia segue le avventure di Ellian, una giovane principessa del regno fantastico di Lumbria, che intraprende una missione per salvare i suoi genitori, trasformati in mostri da un misterioso incantesimo.
Il film vanta un cast vocale di alto profilo: nella versione originale, Rachel Zegler presta la voce a Ellian, mentre Nicole Kidman e Javier Bardem interpretano rispettivamente la regina Ellsmere e il re Solon.
La colonna sonora è composta da Alan Menken, celebre per il suo lavoro in classici Disney come "La sirenetta" e "La bella e la bestia".
Dal suo rilascio, "Spellbound" ha suscitato discussioni per la rappresentazione di temi familiari complessi, come il divorzio, portando alcuni genitori a considerarlo inappropriato per un pubblico giovane. Nonostante ciò, il film è rapidamente diventato uno dei titoli più visti su Netflix a livello globale. Per gli spettatori italiani, le voci dei protagonisti sono affidate a doppiatori di talento, tra cui Massimo Ranieri."Spellbound - L'incantesimo" è disponibile in streaming su Netflix dal 22 novembre 2024.
